With all the choices in technology today, getting time to write on the blog is rare. Not because of the technology – because work is so slamming, I don’t have time. I have been dreaming of retirement lately. Forming lists of things that I could do to fill the time. I often wonder if I would be bored once I got all the stuff done and just had time. The grass is always greener.
Speaking of a roll of film. While cleaning out a dresser a while back – we found an undeveloped roll of film. I saw where you can take it in and get it developed, but it takes two weeks to get it back and I am sure it is pricey. Another thing I am putting off, but will be excited to see what is on the roll. Along that line, I am working on our 2018 book of photos. I am only up to March. I know in the past you would get the photos developed and throw them in a box. I always made sure I put them in albums right away. Getting a digital book developed for the year takes time sitting in front of the computer. I do that 50 hours a week already… Then there are the years between print and digital that I didn’t do a book. Those are virtually thrown in a box. Probably will be lost forever at some point… Boy I digress…
Back to my original point. Is blogging loosing its appeal with all the other quick choices out there? My personal fave is Instagram as I can just post pics and not get everyone’s opinions on this that and the other. It’s good to pop back in now and again and see what is going on here though. I need to get that roll of film developed…
